Refereeing in Villa v Arsenal game.

Anyone else watching? It seemed like for the last 10 mins the ref and VAR just gave up trying to officiate it.

The most likely outcome looked like it was going to be a broken leg or a mass brawl by the end. I get letting the game flow, but when your waving away a flying, lunge scissoring the attacker from behind… I really dont see what the point of VAR or the ref is. 

Anyway, back to refreshing.
