Looks like the frustration of the fans is seeping into the pundits now. Ive read 2 articles both predicting a 13th (something i agree with) place at best with one suggesting we could be looking over our shoulers if we have a poor start back to plucky little everton. A few wins and these change their tune but to dismiss their views would be a mistake as it sets a narrative in the press. Both articles point to un ambitious transfer business. Moyes not soeaking to the press during the summer hasnt helped this . In this day and age of 24 hr media coverage we need efc being positively protrayed all the time. We dont have europe or are the best payers so we need to set a media story that we are good side going places. Its hardly a wonder we struggle to attract players from abroad who have options if this is the aura surrounding the club. Klopp was an absolute master of this with martinez being the best weve had at it and like it or not the days of a manager ignoring the press has long since gone..
