If we finished the transfer window with Tete on board and Grealish and Richarlison on loan, and assuming no-one else departs (bar Iroegbunam / Alcaraz who I'd be fine with us moving on), does this window go down as a success? There will be a bad taste left in the mouth re. Armstrong's proposed / aborted departure, of course, but if we just look at the actual squad on paper that we end up with, I'd have to say, if not perfect, we would look much stronger and I'd genuinely expect us to be competing for Europe. Of course, this is Everton and there's still time for everything to go tits up.
