Latest info from Shareholders Assoc as below, including content of letter sent to Friedkin, with no response. Dear Member Our Chair spoke again with CEO Angus Kinnear on Tuesday morning with regard to the letter we wrote to Mr Friedkin two weeks ago. We are confident that Angus not only assured the delivery of our letter but has subsequently sought to expedite a response. Mr Friedkin until now has not responded to our letter and we have sadly concluded he does not intend to which is both disappointing and disrespectful to us, his fellow shareholders, and the worldwide Everton family of committed supporters. As requested by many of you please find attached a copy of the letter. We will update you on next steps in due course. "Dear Mr Friedkin My fellow shareholders and I watched with dismay and concern as our football club was publicly humiliated at the conclusion of the recent Premier League transfer window. We were astonished by your apparent preparedness to allow prized assets to leave the club without adequate replacements being put in place. This debacle leads us to question your personal commitment to our beloved football club. I and my fellow shareholders have no clear view about your plan and intentions for one of the most storied football clubs in the history of football. It saddens us greatly that there is an obvious chasm between our ambitions and your preparedness to commit the resources and necessary funding to deliver upon the promises you and your representatives have given. With due respect we deserve to hear directly from you what your intentions are for our football club as it seems to us that you intend to partially or totally sell the club profitably at a time convenient to you. I personally adore your group mission statement as it sets out your personal passion to inspire joy and purpose, creating timeless memories with precision and care but I don’t see sufficient actions to allow me to believe those fine words when applied to my beloved football club. I hope you will read what I’ve said here with an open heart and give it due consideration as after my family this beautiful football club consumes my life in a way you cannot imagine.
