Yesterday

We did the job yesterday with the result more important than the performance in my opinion. A loss would have knocked us back and even a draw would have left a sour taste. The win lifts everyone and puts a spring in your step. The players will most certainly feel the benefit and the cobwebs have been blown off. The cup game will provide an insight into Kinnear's comments last week and how Moyes approaches it. I hope he rests Jarrad and brings in Jake. Rohl should stay at RB and I would keep Armstrong and Hackney in midfield. Barry should stay up top and hopefully he can net again to build his confidence. Lots of rumours re Beto which don't bother me as long as he is replaced beforehand. He only has a year left so now is the time to deal. Most pundits suggesting Delap is a primary target and whilst I am not a great fan he is much better than Beto and will hold the ball up. I can't end without mentioning the ongoing RB situation. After yesterday's game I would forget about Munoz. Tyrigue rinsed him several times and he barely got forward. Hopefully Fort is the real target although I am not too positive that it will happen.
