I’m struggling to think of a worse window? Or even how we could have made this much worse?

We managed to weaken two out of three attacking areas of the team (striker, right midfield), not truly address the most pressing area (AMN for £4m is not addressing the problem at right back, sorry…I’m not even convinced he unseats Rohl in that position), left ourselves with just one specialist left back, the manager fell out with our second best centre back, and we were about to sell our best young academy prospect on the cheap until the fans gave the decision makers something to think about. Even for Everton, that’s some going. An absolute disaster of a window. No two ways about it. I would not have wanted to be in a room with David Moyes tonight. The only reason we still have a manager is likely because he considers himself an Evertonian. Anywhere else and I suspect he’d have walked away from this shit show, as well. And I thought the Kenwright and Moshiri years were bad. Bloody hell. Thank God we’ve had good times.
