The post from Everton fan account EFCdaily_ shares a report from The Athletic stating that The Friedkin Group (TFG), owners of Everton since late 2024, have subtly signalled in US sports business circles that they are open to offers for the club.
TFG acquired the club from Farhad Moshiri to stabilise its finances, refinanced debt, and oversaw the move to the new Hill Dickinson Stadium pictured in the post, yet is now seeking fresh investment possibly via a minority stake.
Sources indicate TFG values Everton at around £1 billion enterprise value, with the process still early-stage and influenced by high Premier League spending and Liverpool's recent minority stake sale.
