Fans unhappy with Moyes, some unhappy with the board and lack of transfers Create a story, then magically, club refuse to sell local player - everyone is happy and gets off their backs, good old moyes, good old kinnear - wouldnt be the first time The idea we need to sell for PSR or whatever its called this week is surely bullshit, unless accounts are being checked month by month... which no prem side would sign up for, would they? Accounts run July to end of June, so if we were struggling now we could sell in Jan or next summer to balance it (as we did with Richy). And if there is 'suddenly' a 35mil gap, how the fuck have they sleepwalked into that? that angle makes no sense. It feels like we are being played The alternative is, we are selling Armstrong (having failed to sell Ndiaye , and having pushed JOB towards the door) and that Moyes and Kinnear and the owners are culpable for various reasons. If we suddenly sell Armstrong, it would fly against everything Kinnear said, and for all but a few gullible folk, he'd be done. Maybe we arent signing anyone else, and by creating this drama we distract from underperforming in the market again. Are we being played? Are they useless? Are they trying to identify a leak by planting something? Has it all come from Forest? One thing I cant imagine is the specific press reporting it, making this one up. If we suddenly need to sell, why did we bother with Hackney and Brennan Johnson. We could have sold Dwight, kept the Hackney millions... Sorted. So I dont buy (ho ho) this 'have to sell rumour / line' I think we are being played, we wont sign or sell anyone, and we'll celebrate not selling Ndiaye and Armstrong and play Rohl at right back all season. Armstrong is NOT Wayne Rooney level, or even Jack Rodwell, but he is significant, selling would be ridiculous.
